This project was during my Junior year at Olathe Northwest and part of the Engineering Academy program. We started by creating a 3D model of a ring in AutoCAD where we measured the size of our finger and created correct dimensions. We then 3D printed this ring out and began a casting process and made our rings out of sterling silver. My ring was a simple Aztec design and after a lot of sanding and polishing the finished material came out well.
